Marholm Defibrillator

The Marholm Defibrillator is situated on the end of the village hall.

Marholm runs a Volunteer Emergency Telephone System or VETS . These are local residents that have volunteered to receive a call and access the Defibrillator in cases of emergency.

If you need to use the Defibrillator, follow this procedure:

  • Either: Call VETS 01733 530911 and someone will bring it to you and operate it.
  • Or: Collect the Defibrillator from Marholm Village Hall. You will be given the access code when you ring 999. Only do this if there is someone with you who can continue CPR.
  • Always apply CPR if someone is possibly experiencing a Heart Attack. There is a significantly higher chance of recovery if you apply CPR and use a Defibrillator.
